Choosing the Traits for a Category

Traits can be added to a category that will be inherited by any product then added to the category. During step two of category creation you will see the following screen




Select traits fro the available list to be added to the category and click the button with arrows pointing towards the Assigned list box. To select multiple traits for transference hold down the ‘Ctrl’ key while clicking your selections. Then click the button with the arrows pointing towards the Assigned box to add all selected traits to the category. To remove mistaken traits simply select it in the Assigned box and click the button with arrows pointing towards the Available list box. The traits will be moved and the page will post back.




The Assigned Traits will now be available for your products to inherit. Click ‘Next’ to finish the process and return to the Catalog screen.
